This Tour begins at Vrindavan at around 12:00 pm on day one at our pre-booked hotel and ends at same place after breakfast on day 6. Participants may choose to reach Vrindavan directly by train or by flight to Delhi and by road then to Vrindavan depending upon their preference, but transport between your home and our hotel in Vrindavan is not included in the tour itinerary or cost. However, all required assistance will be duly provided. On day 6th, participants can tie up to hire a vehicle to reach Delhi airport together in the evening.

Day 1
11Mar : At Barsana (Lathmar Holi, Samaj)

This year we will start our phototour with Barsana Holi due to some last minute changes in the Holi itinerary at Mathura. Tempo Traveller is arranged for them who reach the pre booked hotel early to take them to Barasana directly from the hotel. Those who are arriving by air through Delhi on 11th will be arranged to meet the previous team in Barsana. After attending the Barsana Holi, the entire team will reach back to the hotel in Vrindavan in the evening. Getting fresh, will do a short introduction and have our dinner before retire for the next day shoot.

Day 2
12 Mar : At Nandgaon (Samaj & Lathmar)

Morning breakfast at hotel and start for Nandgaon village to cover “Lathmar Holi”, which is approximately 50km away from Vrindavan. We will be carrying our packed lunch for the event as there is hardly a chance to take lunch on spot together. All are advised to carry a small haversack to keep water, lunch pack and camera accessories.


Day 3
13 Mar : At Vrindavan (STREET, YAMUNA AARTI)

Today we will explore the PARIKRAMA by devotees to capture some vibrant shots of people in action in and around Vrindavan and Jamuna Ghats in different temples. Apart, we will cover the colorful streets, enchanting ghats aplenty to get our photo-tour content. A display of tour photos, analysis and post processing assistance will be discussed as per time availability.


Day 4
14 Mar : At Vrindavan (Street, Banke Vihari & Aarti)

Today is holi at Vrindavan town. So after a morning session in the street, half a day we will explore the streets of Vrindavan. We will experience FOOLOWALI HOLI at Banke Bihari Temple(subjected to entry possibility) very near to our hotel in the early evening.


Day 5
15 Mar : At Vrindavan

As there is no Holi program scheduled on today, we spend the entire day in exploring the streets, the ghats and discussing over the shots taken by the participants and analysing them, providing much needed post processing assistance and tips. Participants are advised to carry their own laptop, hard disc, pen drive and multi point charging board.


Day 6
16 Mar : At Vrindavan (Street/Widow Holi)

After a brisk morning session, and we if are lucky enough to witness the “widow holi” to happen, will continue to shoot until 1200 pm and then we will get our baggages packed to proceed home back, especially those who are heading towards Delhi.


Our trip ends here.

  • Twin shared room(optional for couple/partners, otherwise preferably with same-gender participants) in a 2/3 star hotel, with western toilet.
  • It will cover all vegetarian meals(we won’t find any non-vegetarian meals there) and mineral water (breakfast, lunch and dinner), starting from 21st Mar lunch to 26th Mar breakfast.
  • All local transports related with our photo tour i.e. hiring of cabs from Vrindavan to Barsana and Nandgaon etc.
  • Mentor’s fee for on-field assistances, image reviews and guidance on post processing.


  • Train/flight tickets to and fro Mathura/Vrindavan
  • No airport/station pick up and drop will be provided from Vrindavan to New Delhi Airport /Mathura station.
  • Any additional food items or beverages during meals.
  • Any personal habit or expenses.
  • Any entry fees for self/cameras.

I am new to photography. Will I join this trip?

Yes of course. This tour is for all photography enthusiastic people. The more you travel and explore, the more your photographic eye will open. Moreover, our team leaders will ensure to give special attention to the beginners.

I am not a serious photographer, just a traveler. Shall I join this trip?

Yes, you too can join this tour as our tours are designed for both serious photographers and casual travelers for the purpose of both learning and entertainment. But you need to pay the amount of the full fee as the seats are limited and you could take place of a full paid serious photographer.

What equipments are required for this Trip?

Well, even the point and shoot camera will work fine. If you have a DSLR camera, any zoom lens and a wide-angle lens will work best. You may also bring a portrait lens like 50mm or 85mm prime(classic 70-200mm f/2.8 can be the best for the purpose). A laptop with post-processing software, an extension charging board, an external hard drive, and extra memory cards will be helpful. For review session, you must carry a pen drive along with.

What is the difference between ASP workshop Photo Tours and other tours?

We are not offering a package tour for general tourists; it is specifically meant for photography enthusiastic people and designed by experienced professional photographers. You will discover the place and learn a lot about this ancient city, local people and their culture which is an important part of our travel photography. We will try to observe the local people, their daily activities and cultural beliefs and will try to capture those moments using the right compositions and techniques. Our Team Leaders will help our guests to learn camera settings, framing and as well as post-processing. If you cancel your registration, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the Workshop:

  • 30 days or more: 50% refund
  • 15 days or more: 25% refund

Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.
  • ASP shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, road blockages, political closures or any troublesome incidents.
  • ASP shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

ASP does not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage, camera, gears & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

  • We don’t have any control over weather conditions, pandemics, accidents or any medical emergencies. Under any unforeseen condition, we may have to change our schedule. We expect your cooperation under such circumstances.
